LA MIRADA, Calif. – In their last tune up before the GSAC Championships, the Men's and Women's San Diego Christian College Cross Country teams competed in the Biola West Coast Jamboree on Saturday.

The Men's team finished 14th and the Women's was unable to field a team score due to injuries.

Joey Holland finish in first for the men's side in the 8K race. He finished with a time of 32:56.3 good for 73rd. Joseph Bridgeforth came right after in 74th finishing with a time of 33:19.7. Alessandro Moriano (35:22.4, 75th) Juan Maffey (36:24.2, 76th) and Rolando Rivera (47:03.6, 77th) rounded out the runners.

Liliana Gomez-Garza was best for the women's side finishing the 5K course in 23:20. Karla Camarillo was next with a time of 24:45.6 as Kendra Chamberlain was the last SDC runner to record a time of 33:00.3.

The Hawks will have two weeks to prepare for the GSAC Championships. The final race will be on Nov. 8 at The Master's College in Santa Clarita.
